SANDY FRAUD WORKING GROUP-NJ STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL

New Jersey's Statewide Sandy Fraud Working Group, created by Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa and housed within the Office of the State Attorney General, is New Jersey's central clearinghouse for data-gathering, investigation, and prosecution of civil and criminal fraud related to Superstorm Sandy and the disaster recovery process.

"New Jersey and the Attorney General's Office have fought hard against alleged scammers in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, and we will not permit profiteers to deceive the public by scamming those who need to repair their homes, committing insurance fraud, or making deceptive appeals for charitable donations."

                                   – New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa
