Submerge your potatoes in water and load the water with salt, about 4 cups to a gallon of water. Also include any other seasonings you might enjoy like chives or maybe garlic.
Cover and boil the potatoes until tender, this will vary by the amount your cooking of course but they will begin floating once the water reaches a rolling boil, so be sure to occasionally push the top layer down and beneath the rest of the potatoes.
Once finished, remove from the water and let sit for a few minutes to allow the salt to crystallize. Dip them into some drawn butter and indulge.
