Cream the butter, sugar, and egg; and the flour. Spread in the bottom of a 9 inch spring form pan and bake for 5 minutes at 450 degrees and remove and cool slightly.
1. Cream the cream cheese and add the sugar slowly and vanilla. Cream in eggs on at a time and add milk and flour.
2. Pour onto crust and bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees; reduce the heat to 250 degrees and bake for an additional 60 minutes (or until center tests done).
