Pie Crust

  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 1 stick unsalted butter brought to room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 tsp fine salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Line the baking pan with aluminum foil, allowing the foil to hang over two sides of the pan. Then spray with cooking spray and set side.

  3. Place butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment; beat on medium-high speed until creamy, about 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add the flour, sugar, salt and mix on medium speed just until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Do not over mix.

  5. Press the cumb mixture into an even layer in the bottom of the pan. Bake unitl the edges are light golden brown, about 13-15 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
