Cream together the butter, eggs, sugar, juice, and extract. Sift the dry ingredients. Add gradually to the creamed mixture.
Form into to the shape of a chick. Cut a slit into the crown and beard. Use three strips of red ribbon for the chick\'s crown and three strips of red ribbon for the beard.
Make a slit at the bottom and add a brown egg. Should be hard boiled. Bake for 10 minutes and check the shape.
You may have to push it gently into shape again with the back of a spoon. Bake for a remaining 10 to 15 minutes. Do not over bake
Immediately brush on glaze, while the chick is hot. The glaze will set as it cools.
