The library has summer reading clubs for all ages - kids, teens AND adults! Summer reading starts June 22nd and ends August 15th. You can participate entirely online, by visiting your local branch, or by doing a combination of both. For more information about each summer reading club, see the Summer Reading Clubs section below.

Summer Events

The library also has lots of  events for all ages this summer! You can see our online calendar by clicking here. If you want to see events for certain ages or that are held at certain branches you can use the menu on the left side of the calendar.

Kids, can come to registration celebrations, movie nights, science programs, storytimes and more!

Teens can play Dungeons & Dragons, learn robotics, play Minecraft, learn rocket science, come to our ComicCon, learn how to make crafty things, come to our overnight lock-in in the library, and submit photos and manga style art for our contests - just to name a few options.

Adults can do zumba, yoga, or pilates, learn to sew, join in on a book discussion, play scrabble, see movies, learn how to use your new technology, go for educational nature walks, and so so much more.

Our Technology Learning Center has lots of programs for all ages to learn, play and explore with new technologies. We also have a Maker Station! You can come to a program or make an appointment to learn to sew, make buttons, design and create with a 3D printer, solder, use robots, or use our arduino, little bits, MaKeyMaKey or raspberry pi. You can also make an appointment or stop by on one of our drop-in days to get answers about your phone, tablet, computer, or any other gadget. Want to learn more? Click here to visit the TLC site.
