Special Programs Family Movie Nights Every 3rd Friday of the month, the Children's Department will host a Family Movie Night at the Cape May Court House Library, featuring a rated G or PG movie for the whole family to enjoy. The November showing will be Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring the whole family! Refreshments will be served. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium: November 14th at 5:30pm The Muppet's Christmas Carol: December 19th at 5:30pm Holiday Magic Show When: Tuesday, December 16th at 6:30 p.m. Where: Court House Library (Main Branch) The Holidays are a wonderful time of year; full of magical stories, history, traditions, and lots of fun and surprises. Magician, Eric Dasher, has taken the theme of the holidays and created a magic show about the celebrations and traditions we have come to know and cherish. The history of the Christmas tree and Chanukah and the reasons we celebrate them are explained in a fun and magical way. How Santa fits so much into his sack and how he magically enters you house are some of the things that are demonstrated and explained. Mr. Dasher even makes it a While Christmas complete with snow! Join us at the Main Branch of the library in Cape May Court House for a magical holiday treat. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16th. Bring the whole family!
Art at the Library
Woodbine, Wildwood Crest, Lower Township, & Cape May City Children 6-10 are invited to attend “Art at the Library” sponsored by The Center for Community Arts at the Cape May City Library and the Wildwood Crest Library. Children enjoy a book and create a work of art. Registration is requested and children can sign-up in advance. Woodbine meetings are every other Monday from 3:30 - 4:30 PM on the following dates: September 29th October: 6th, 20th, 27th November: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th December 1st Wildwood Crest meetings are every other Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 PM on the following dates: September: 24th October: 8th, 22nd November: 5th, 19th December: 3rd Lower Township meetings are every other Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:30 PM on the following dates: September: 24th October: 8th, 22nd November: 5th, 19th December" 3rd Cape May City meetings are every other Thursday from 6:30 - 7:30 PM on the following dates: September: 25th October: 9th, 23rd November: 6th, 20th December: 4th For more information, call the Center for Community Arts at 884-7525.
Book Clubs for Kids
Books Rule Book Club
The Books Rule Book Club is for children in grades 7, 8, and 9. The club meets once a month at the Main Library from 6 to 7 PM. The group meets on Tuesdays, once a month. Kids will discuss the book, do a craft, and have ice cream.

The Bookworms at the Upper Library
At the Upper Library, kids going into 5th and 6th grades are welcome to join. The club meets the first Monday of each month. Read a book during the month, then come to the club and talk about it. At each meeting we talk about the book, do a craft or a puppet show, and have a refreshment. Next Meeting: November 3rd - A "Dear America"series book
