Seed Library
This seed collection is dependent on donations from our community and you are encouraged to bring us back some seeds harvested from your own garden. There is no requirement that you save seeds from any plants grown with these seeds.

What is a Seed Library?
The Cape May County Seed Library is a resource created and maintained by our community so residents can grow no-cost/low-cost nutritious food at home by providing seeds to individuals. It consists of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds that are donated from our local community and the larger seed saving community in NJ. Growers of every skill level are invited to join the Cape May County Seed Library

Getting Seeds
Our seeds are accessible year-round. Stop in the 2nd floor of the Cape May Court House Library located at 30 Mechanic Street. The seeds are presorted and ready to grab. The selection of seeds will vary from season and use.

We encourage you to try growing whatever seeds interest you. After all, we all learn by trying new things! Please share your failure and success with us! We love pictures and stories. You can email us at [email protected] Don’t forget to let us know if we can share your story!

Are you stressed out, depressed and having health problems? Do you want to bring more laughter and joy into your life? Laughter Yoga is the right choice for you. Laughter Yoga (LY) is not a comedy. It is an exercise program developed by Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria where anyone can laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedies. It is practiced in more than 110 countries.

It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing techniques (Pranayama) which brings more oxygen to our body and brain making us feel more energetic and healthy. Ten to 15 minutes of LY exercises can reduce stress, make your immune system stronger and keep your mind positive during challenging times.
